Ragdoll/ long haired domestic

This post is very hard to write but necessary. I have a 3 year old ragdoll/ longhaired tabby domestic cat that needs to be rehomed due to me moving to the USA. I can't take him with me because the people who I will be living with are highly allergic to cats. I've tried to find a way around it but can't seem to come up with a solution. Heartbreaking to be honest as I love him so much. Alternative to adoption could be a fostering situation while I sort out everything abroad.
He is a fabulous cat. He's never had an accident in the flat, he's never scratched l the sofa. He doesn't make any noise at night when I put him the front room when I go to bed.
He eats almost anything and is extremely social and loves a cuddle.
But, and there is a but, he does have one behaviourist issue which I have tried to sort but have not got to the bottom of the problem. I could be sitting on the sofa watching tv and he suddenly lashes out and bites and then runs off. The bite is minimal, no blood, no scratching, but does catch one of guard and it can be terribly frustrating. I've no idea why he does it. It may be attention seeking? It maybe something else.
He also can be territorial about certain places and he doesn't like to be over stimulated. He's very intelligent and easy going apart from the 'love biting!'.
I have to be transparent about this because if someone were to adopt him then they would need to know beforehand. I am going away around Dec 24/ Jan 25 so it would be good to get him settled before I go incase there's any issues and doesn't work out with whoever has him.
He's stays inside a lot of the time but I carry him down the stairs and outside (we on the 1st floor) and he has a run around and then I go back and fetch him when I call out.
He also has a run around in my mums garden and never strays far from me. Likes to be in the middle of everything and everyone! Loves the car too. He is fully vaccinated, wormed etc and also microchipped. I have all the paperwork.
Huge long post but just wanted to see if the right person is out there and ideally with a garden. I am in Kent. Here's some photos. Many thanks x
