5* home for a dog needing alot of work

I've had him around 4 months he's a frenchie x bulldog. He is very territorial and tries to bite strangers that come to the house, he has also bit my 9 year old when he came back from a weekend away. I now have to keep them apart as I don't trust him. He can be lovely but I believe he needs a single owner no children and lots of behaviour work. He is very affectionate with me. I have asked gables and woodside to take him but they won't as he has this bite history. He doesn't attack as such he just jumps and tries to get your hands and snaps but it can hurt. Other than this he's a good boy. He loves nothing more than to be on your lap and he sits for a treat and he is toilet trained. I just can't keep him around my children anymore.
