Introducing Lalisa!

Lalisa is a mere 11 months old, but she's had a harder start to life than any dog deserves. Born with a congenital eye defect that has left her visually impaired, she's stuck with low vision in a chaotic environment with little understanding as dogs are repeatedly adopted out before her.

She's big, beautiful, and bursting with love to share for her future family, but she needs a super special adopter. Someone kind and patient who can see past her stubborn and strong energy on lead and see the vulnerable girl she is who just needs to know that she can be loved and feel safe as she learns to be the best big pupper she can.

Lalisa LOVES to run, she has so much fun zooming around the yard and getting all of that puppy energy out. She loves every toy under the sun and is FULL of personality. She brings big smiles to all of our faces here and will make someone very happy.

Lalisa will need a home with secondary school-aged children and older who will guide her through life with positive reinforcement and gentle encouragement. She may be strong on the lead and a little jumpy but with patience and gentle training, she's sure to be the girl of your dreams.

Our sweet girl is already showing signs of hearing loss- a cruel twist of fate for a dog as desperate for connection as Lalisa. She needs her family to understand that love doesn't always come with perfect hearing, but it DOES come with tail wags, kisses, and a truly unique bond.
