Why hello there, my name is Strike and I'm aiming right for your heart!

Don't be fooled when you first meet me as I come off a little shy.... it's just until I feel safe, and when I'm comfortable you'll see my TRUE goofy side come out! Zooming around the yard, I'm still a gentleman and will sit by your feet once I've gotten my energy out. Speaking of sit, my friends here at the shelter say I'm super smart and that my sitting is perfect! To be honest I'll do anything for those treats, especially sitting and charming them with my adorable face.

As I'm a young guy I've got some puppy energy to burn, and my favourite to burn that energy is playtime! I love any and all toys that come my way, but I especially adore tug of war.

I'm a sucker for belly rubs, fetch (even though I don't always bring the ball back), and whatever treat you've got in your pocket. I get along great with other dogs, so bring along any resident dogs to make sure that we are going to get along like a house on fire!

I'm still figuring out this whole "being handled by humans" thing, though. I mean - cuddles? AMAZING. Sudden grabs? Hmm... let's slow it down, okay? Because of that, I'd be happiest in a home with older, dog-savvy kids who get that not every dog wants a bear hug right away. Please bring along all family to meet me so we can be on the same page with training me (YAY), I want to learn soo much!
