Look out, it's the brilliant Buddy!
At almost ten years old, Buddy is searching for a retirement home where he can relax and be the master of the home. Buddy is a classic beagle with his nose to ground at all times. He is ready to sniff out any potential adopters and see if they fit the bill!
Buddy is working with our shelter staff on being less jumpy, walking well on the lead, and being a well-behaved boy. Buddy will need to be the only dog in the household. He would be able to with secondary school-aged kids and above. He is learning new skills all the time, and will sit when he wants to!
Buddy is overweight at the moment. His ideal adopter will work on keeping him active and making sure he gets out and about. Buddy loves going on walks where he can sniff everything in sight. Once Buddy is tired-out from physical activity, he loves to come to you for a pat and a big belly rub. Buddy would love to have a spot next to the couch where he can be included and relax with his adopter.
Buddy is a beautiful dog who deserves to find a happy home where he can feel safe and loved. We know that once Buddy is settled in, you'll wonder what you did without him!
