I need to find a new home for my dog. He needs a calm home with someone who has had working collies before and is used to their temperament and idiosyncrasies. 90% angel - 10% devil! The devil side involves chasing cars and snapping - so no young children. The snapping is always associated with chaos (I have 3 teenagers and always a houseful) this makes my dog anxious and cross. If you a somewhat calmer life, lots of outdoor time and be with him most of the time, he would be a gorgeous companion. Must be able to indoors. Has girls dog friends that a are calm and not in his face - his favourite is a chihuahua, but has a problem with male dogs (was attacked by a German Shepherd) He s with cats which he loves but will chase them in the garden if not on a lead. He does not do well in kennels so would need a gentler alternative. He is 4, can't eat food with grain in, otherwise healthy.
