Kimiko likes to match your energy. If you're relaxing, she'll relax with you. If you're running around, well she's taking it as a challenge to prove that she can out run you and out play you. This adorable girl is always on the move, ready to turn even the most mundane of moments into an adventure.

But we'll be honest, Kimiko is not for the faint of heart. Like an overstimulated cat, Kimiko can go from playful to mouthy in a flash when she gets too wound up- it's her way of saying she's hit her limit and needs help settling back down. Any kind of playtime (especially with stuffed or rope toys) is full of high energy and high arousal for her, and she's better to be left to self play in the backyard for the time being. With her humans, Kimiko's training has focused on low-arousal activities such as scent training, lick mats and food puzzle toys.

Kimiko has been working closely with our behaviour team and has made some fantastic progress. She's currently learning chained behaviours and fun tricks that help her stay focused and regulated. She is also on lifelong behaviour medication, which will need to be continued in her new home - but don't worry, our team will walk you through everything you need to know. A stable, consistent routine will be key to helping her continue to thrive. We're all incredibly proud of how far she's come and can't wait to see her keep growing and thriving.

At the moment Kimiko is best suited to being in an adult only home that doesn't mind a few love nibbles, and a home where she is the only dog in the household so she can soak up all your attention!
