American XL Bully - Odin - 10 Months Old
Price: 500.00 GBPAmerican XL Bully - Odin - 10 Months Old
I have 2 fully vaccinated and microchipped American XL Bullies. This one is "Odin," a purebred, and the other one featured on my profile is “Goody,” a crossbreed. It's crucial to note that the American XL Bully breed is facing a ban in the UK at the end of the year, and I have legal arrangements with my son that I don't want to compromise. Additionally, I'm currently facing financial difficulties in caring for these dogs, and the impending ban will only bring more associated costs. My worsening dog allergies have added to the challenge, and it’s now clear that I made these *****s during a challenging financial time. Ideally, I would like to **** both of my dogs to the same home to minimise their separation anxiety.
Odin is a very loving and calm dog, known for his relaxing nature. While he can be excitable, he maintains a generally composed demeanour. He understands a moderate list of commands and phrases:
Commands and Phrases He Understands:
* Sit
* Paw
* Other Paw
* Lay down
* Up
* Down
* Nicely (To eat a treat gently)
* Eat (He will eat his food after you tell him to sit on command)
* Treat
* Kiss (He will lick you)
* Short whistle (He will come when called)
* No (He understands not to engage in undesirable behaviours)
* Away (He will leave you alone)
* Bed (He will go to his designated bed)
Diet and Care: Odin is on a dry food diet, fed twice a day in the morning and around 6:30 **** He is compliant with worming and flea/tick spray treatments and handles baths well.
Behavioural Traits: Odin experiences low separation anxiety, which can manifest as chewing objects. He has a lower instinct drive but can display excitement by wagging his giant tail. Odin is good with children and has experience with kids aged 1 to 4, but his excitement should be closely monitored as he may accidentally knock over small playmates. He can be a bit nervous at times, which he expresses by hiding away, but he does not exhibit aggressive behaviour. Odin is not territorial with other dogs or people and is playful with other dogs. He has made significant progress through treat training, but it's important to remember that he is still a puppy. Among his breed, Odin falls on the relaxed end of the scale, making him a calm and easygoing companion.
Lastly, Odin has a sensitive stomach and tends to overindulge in treats when given the opportunity. If you're interested in providing Odin with a loving home and can accommodate his unique needs and training, please consider adopting him. Opting to adopt both Odin and Goody together would be ideal for their well-being and happiness. Feel ***** to contact me for more information or to arrange a meeting with Odin.
