Forever home needed for barnie the bocker

We are looking urgently for a new home for our beautiful boy Barnie. He is a Bocker (Beagle Cocker Spaniel cross) Born September 2019.

He hasn’t taken well to the arrival of our baby and we don’t think it’s fair on him or the safety of the baby to keep him.

He is Anxious around new people and can react defensively which can be off putting when you first meet him.

He needs an adult only home. He does go to doggy day care and mixes with other dogs but not sure how he would be sharing a home with another dog.

He is neutered, fully vaccinated, house trained and microchipped.He is also crate trained and is fine to leave.

Doesn’t like cats

Good Recall, he Loves his walks but he can pull on the lead. He can be defensive on walks and will bark at people which can be off putting as he has a very deep bark.

He has lots of energy but once he’s had his walk he’s very settled.

We have been trying to contact many rescue centre during the past few months but unfortunately they are all full, we are unable to rehome him to friends and family as many of them have either children or a dog themselves
