German Shepherd Cross - Rehoming via Adoption Agency

- He loves people and is affectionate to everyone including strangers
- Really good indoors and happy to relax most of the day
- Has learnt quite a few commands including sit, down, find it, and has started to respond to come and heel.
- house trained and sleeps really well through the night
- loves play and will happily play all day if he can. If he can be with another dog he's at his happiest
- loves toys and pulling stuffing out toys
- hasn't damaged anything in the house and doesn't chew things, although will try and steal towels or blankets
- enjoys a snuggle on the sofa
- loves a brush, bath and blow dry to keep his lustrous locks in shape.
- sleeps in his Crate at night and when family are out

Negatives
- Rayo has become extremely reactive on walks to vehicles, animals, and other dogs. He has never been good on a lead and will pull all the time, but we had some success in improving this before the reactivity issues became worse and now struggle to take him out
- When he sees other dogs he is desperate to play and socialise, but is unable to control himself and becomes in a heightened state of anxiety/excitment which put off other owners who often dont let him interact with their dog. This has become a vicious circle of less socialisation and increased reactivity

We believe Rayo will benefit significantly from a home with another dog, preferably a dog that will play all day and can handle a large dog. When is in a garden with another dog is at his happiest.
