German Shorthaired Pointer/Kelpie, 1 year and 3 months, Female

Bella is NOT for the faint of heart.

This girl is a a German Shorthaired Pointer X Kelpie. Yes, you read that right. A lethal combo of intelligence and energy, this girl will be running laps around you and hearding you where she so pleases. Bella needs a family that is prepared to deal with her antics and knows how to tire her out!

Bella has told us that her dream home is one full of love, cuddles, and treats. She also mentioned something about a massive yard to run around in and all your time and attention... but you can't have everything. So, if you are looking for a farm dog with all the genetics and none of the skills, Bella might just be the girl for you. Bella also must go to a home in a quiet area, no busy streets for this smarty pants! But more important than acreage, is a home full of love and committment (and treats).

Bella is SUCH a snugglebug once she decides to settle down and our team here at the shelter think she is the sweetiest pie in the whole wide world. She MIGHT be willing to share your love and affection with a furry sibling, but they would need to sniff eachother out first too see if it's a good fit. If you have a dog at home, you'll need to bring them in to meet Bella!

Bella has not really left her puppy stage yet, she might be fully grown, but she would benefit from some more consistient training (that means treats!), and working on her impulse controll. Essentially, while Bella knows some of the basics like 'sit' she ALSO will jump up on you to say hello - rude!
