Say hello to our stunning senior boy, Knight!

This sweet-natured man is looking for a loving forever home where he can have all the treats and snuggles he's been waiting for. Surrendered into our care, Knight was extremely nervous and shut down when he first arrived here. He's blossomed so much while being here and he's just oozing with potential to be a confident dog, he just needs someone to give us a chance.

When he does feel safe and secure, Knight's true personality comes out. Goofy and playful, he's more energetic than you'd think a 7 year old can be, he just tuckers out much faster. Balls, rope toys and stuffed toys, Knight loves them all and LOVES to show them off to you. And after a long day of playing, he better have a spot on the couch to snuggle up in with you.

Okay, so Knight's not winning any social butterfly awards. He's a bit of an awkward guy. But once he trusts you? Oh boy, you're in for the most adorably weird, loyal love of your life. He loves routines (structure helps him feel safe), long naps in sunbeams, and pretending he doesn't want attention until you're almost falling over with how hard he's leaning on you.

Knight isn't a fit for homes with cats, children, or other dogs right now- his heart is just too sensitive, and too many unpredictable things make him anxious. But in a home with an understanding soul, he will give you all the love he's been keeping safe in his heart. Knight is a super sweet boy, but can be a little unsure about meeting new people. A homebody at heart, he'd much prefer hanging out at home over a busy day out in the big scary world.
