Male French bulldog for rehomeing please read description carefully.

Hi unfortunately I have to consider the best for my dog and with a heavy heart I have no choice but to rehome him.

His Name is Hugo he is 6 years old born 02/2019. Hugo was originally owned by a breeder who sadly neglected him. They used him for breading and made him stay outside.
I found Hugo 4 years ago tied up in an abandoned property’s back garden.
Unfortunately due to his past Hugo has what I call ‘little man syndrome’ at first Hugo comes across aggressive as he is very vocal and sometimes shows abit of aggression until he go’s and gets his toy to welcome you to play with him.
The reason for me regimenting him is that I have just had a newborn and he isn’t taking very well to her. I have a 5 year old daughter and he is fantastic with her no issues atall but for some reason doesn’t like the newborn.
As a parent I can’t take that risk and would advise that if you do decide to adopt Hugo that there is no children in the age of 5 and that there is no cats.
Hugo does get along with other dogs after a slow introduction as he s with my Afghan hound no issues atall.

Please be aware that he will not just be going to anyone. I need to find the best possible home for him and the right person who will be with him majority of the time. I will be carrying out a home check before Hugo comes gents why there is a cost to ensure that people are serious.

I’ll be honest he is a little bigger sometimes but he is so loving and once he knows you and trusts you, you will have a best friend.

Hugo is house trained, lead trained and none food aggression.

He can be about snappy when it comes to treats but if you ask him to sit and say ‘nice’ he is fine.

He is my best friend and I need to do what is right for him in the long term.
