Reggie

Reggie came to us from the breeder at 8 months old, he was previously with a family who did not provide him with the right care, details are unknown however I do know they kept him caged/crated the majority of the time and when he wasn’t caged/crated their young children were allowed to climb all over him and sit on him, whether this is the cause of his aggression towards young children we do not know. Therefore the breeder took reggie back in until they found an alternative family for him, which was us.We have 2 teenagers at home and he is fine with them however continuously barks and jumps up younger children and if he is prevented from doing this he gets snappy and has bitten one of our friends children as she walked through the house. There was no cause for this.
He has also become aggressive with my husband on a number of occasions and appears to follow instructions from females (myself) more.
Reggie currently lives with myself, husband, 2 teenage girls and our older frenchie 10years old who he gets on amazingly with, he just likes to play.
Reggie has come a long way since we had him as he was not toilet trained nor able to follow simple instructions, the poor boy did not even know his name or able to walk up stairs :(
However due to us having babies and younger children throughout the family who visit regular it is just not fair on him or them to keep him locked away when they visit or we are babysitting and therefore we are hoping that reggie can find his forever home with someone who can give him the love and time he deserves, this would need to be with someone/family who do not have small young children.
