Robbie is a 30kg loveable tank of a boy who's been waiting patiently for his forever home, and we think it's finally his time to shine.

This gorgeous Shar-Pei mix came into our care as a stray, and while he's had to have a few operations during his stay with us, he's taken it all in stride. Those extra weeks in care just mean we've gotten to know him even better, and we can promise you, he's an absolute gem.

Robbie LOVES his walks and will happily trot along with his big goofy grin, soaking up the sights and smells. He can be strong on lead, so he'll need a confident handler and one of our recommended balance harnesses to help manage his enthusiasm.

He can be a bit aloof when meeting new people (very on brand for a Shar-Pei!), but once he trusts you, you'll see his gentle, affectionate side start to shine. Robbie would thrive in a calm, adult-only home where he can settle in at his own pace, with patient adopters who'll give him the time and space he needs to build confidence.

Robbie may be able to with another dog, but they'll need to be a calm and tolerant companion as he's still learning how to navigate doggy social situations without getting too excited.
