Hi. I'm Tiki.

Yes, like the tiny tropical drink. I'm a small Siberian Husky-tiny for the breed, but full of personality.

Let me be upfront: I'm not a touchy-feely kind of dog. I'm very head shy and don't want to be petted or fussed over. That might change someday, or it might not-and either way, that's just part of who I am. I'm not broken or mean; I just have my boundaries, and I'd love a home that respects them.

That said, I'll absolutely chase a toy with everything I've got. I won't bring it back, of course-I'm a husky, not a retriever-but I'll happily do zoomies with it and keep myself entertained. I don't need constant attention or affection to be content. I'm an independent girl who's perfectly happy doing her own thing, quietly and confidently.

True to my breed, I prefer peace, space, and the *****dom to observe without being smothered. I'm okay with other dogs if we have a slow and respectful introduction. I could thrive in a home with older kids-think middle school age or above-who understand that not every dog wants to be hugged or touched all the time.

I didn't end up in the shelter because I did anything wrong. Life just changed, and through no fault of my own, I need a fresh start.

So, if you're looking for a calm, independent companion who doesn't demand much, but still brings a quiet kind of presence to your life-one who will chase toys, mind her business, and never be clingy-maybe I'm the one.

Not every dog wants to be your shadow. Some of us just want to walk beside you, on our own terms.
