Tamale is a 2 year, 8 month old black and white Staffy cross with a heart full of love and toes that just won't stop tippy tapping when he's excited. This sweet boy was recently returned through no fault of his own, and he's now waiting (again) for someone to give him the second chance he truly deserves.

Just like his namesake, Tamale is full of a delicious personality wrapped up in a thin layer of shyness. At the moment he's still lacking some confidence with new people and full-on cuddles, so its important that his forever family take it slow with him go at his own pace for now. Rushing him won't work, he thrives best when he's given the time and space to build trust at his own pace. Once he knows you're safe, he starts to blossom- and it's truly rewarding to watch.

When he's comfortable, Tamale is active, curious, and would thrive in a home that loves the outdoors as much as he does. Think walks, hikes, backyard sniff sessions, and lots of opportunities to follow his sniffer wherever it leads. Despite his love for adventure, Tamale is also a total sweetheart who wants nothing more than to be loved and part of a home that sees how special he is.
