Meet gorgeous girl Poppy!

Sweet Poppy found her way to the shelter as a stray, in a bit of a rough state. Thankfully, we've been able to give her the care and recuperation she needed, and like a flower, she has truly blossomed.

Poppy is a very good girl-she already knows how to sit! She is very affectionate and will do anything for a treat (which she takes very gently), making her perfect for future training. Poppy isn't the biggest fan of going to the vet and can get a little resistant, but honestly, who could blame her?

Poppy would prefer to go to a home with older humans (16+) who can respect her boundaries and help her build a good routine. She also gets along well with other dogs and would suit living with another well-matched dog. Of course, they would need to meet at the shelter first to ensure it's a perfect match.
