A soulful pup with a voice (and stare) that could rival his namesake, country crooner Benson Boone!

Affectionately known as "Stare Bear", Benson may come off a little intense at first as he tends to fixate on new faces with his signature gaze. But once he gets to know you, he melts into the ultimate snuggle buddy, hitting all the high notes of affection.

Due to his sensitive nature, he'd thrive in a calm, dog-savvy home without young children or high energy dogs. One where he can continue building confidence, supported by a patient family who will go at his pace, respect his boundaries, and let him take the lead (both vocally and emotionally).

While Benson may look tough in his staffy body, look into his eyes and you'll see a sensitive soul just waiting for a kindred spirit. He's currently on anxiety medication due to his fear of dogs and unfamiliar people, which will need to be ongoing for the time being. Our team has been working with him during his time in care, and he's already come a long way and growing in confidence every day. We're sure with a little patience and endless love, Benson can become the dog he's meant to be.
