Introducing our handsome pup, Nate!

While Nate may be 9 months old, in his mind, he is still a full-on puppy! He would thrive with adopters who are willing to engage in ongoing training and consider enrolling him in adolescent puppy classes. This will help him learn important foundational skills and improve his socialisation.

Nate is pretty relaxed when it comes to meeting new people, wanting to make new best friends every single day. However, since he is still working on his impulse control and can be a bit boisterous, he is best suited to a home with secondary school-aged children and older (12+), who can manage his energy. As Nate continues to build his independence, it would be ideal for him to with parents who do not work full-time and are often at home.

Nate feels somewhat hesitant about meeting other dogs and will require gradual introductions to new canine companions in the future. He may be a good fit to go home with a well-matched doggy sibling, provided that he has a successful meet and greet at the shelter.

Nate is such a sweet boy who just hasn't been given the proper chance to develop his foundational puppy skills. If you can commit some time and energy to him, he will reward you by being the best and most loyal friend you could hope for.
