Believed to be male and is around 2ft. I've personally owned it 4-5yrs and got it when it was around 8inchs long. Lives comfortably in a 350l corner tank. Is very curious. So you will have to use gloves for plant maintenance for just in case purposes. Every once and a while he will try and have a finger lol always out showing his face seeing whats going on. He can be put with other fish like adult discus. Eats very well on frozen thawed shrimp, squid, mussels, cut up white bait. Anything meaty really. You will know when he loves a new type of food as he goes on like a feeding frenzy.
