*Percy has found a lovely new home, he is due to be collected mid December- I will update here if his new home falls through* Horsefield Tortoise - age approx 17 years

Location South Shropshire (willing to travel up to 1 hour to meet you)
Percy is lovely and friendly, only selling due to my mums poor health and me not being in a position to take him on.
The ***** for him is for the equipment that he comes with rather than Percy himself. We want him to go to a loving home who can give him the attention he deserves.
Percy comes with a purpose built open top tortoise table, UV strip lighting, basking bulb, dome and stand, dimming thermostat, calcium dust, slate, water bowl, hide and a couple of extra bulbs. Lights need to be on for 12 hours per day. (I think you can ***** a timer which does this for you if you aren’t at home to do that. He needs feeding once per day (fresh weeds and plants according to his species, these are weeds such as pansies, dandelions, honeysuckle, clover, plantain) The Tortoise Table App is helpful for this) In the winter it can be hard to do this so he has mixed crispy lettuce.
We have had Percy in our family since he was 3. Unfortunately when we ***** him my mum was given the wrong advice on how to care for him. Over the past four years we have done lots of research into how to look after him correctly. We would need to ensure that Percy’s new owner can carry on with this correct care. I am happy to talk you through everything and help in anyway I can. I would also really love to keep in touch with new owners.
